Over the week, rapper Juliani and his wife Lilian Ng’ang’a have been a subject of discussion, thanks to Andrew Kibe who chose to compare Juliani and former governor Alfred Mutua.
Kibe said that Juliani was busy babysitting while Mutua, Lilian’s ex, was enjoying life in government. This is after Mutua had shared a photo while on official duty in New York while Juliani shared a photo with his son.
“Probably the best thing to happen to this mohine was that kastro leaving him. He be rolling governmental now while the other is back home babysitting. Gaddamn!” Kibe said in his post.
Trolls took up the joke and memes were all over the internet fueling claims that Juliani was broke and struggling.
He however came out to clear the air saying he was not the kind of broke that people thought. He further said that he had invested in some business that were yet to return his money and that he had given himself 10 years to attain his target and goals.
Juliani and Lilian further delved into the matter during an interview with the Nation where he explained why he decided to put up a pay bill number so as to raise money for his son’s diapers.
“I decided to have fun because some people had been making fun of me, so I also decided to play along. That is the last thing I would do in such a situation if it came to pass. I have people, a close circle of friends, who have been with me all through my life, who I can call and share such situations with,” he said.
On the other hand, Lilian said that being broke is not a concern as long as they are in good health and have basic needs.
“Do we look broke? Anyway, we don’t have any reason to explain to people who are not in our life how we are doing. As long as you have a roof over your head, you are healthy and not sleeping hungry, the child is alright then what else do I need?” she said.
