“Victory Is Coming” Wajackoya Consoles His Supporters After Being Busted Endorsing Raila

Date:

Roots party has denied claims of its flag bearer George Luchiri Wajackoya endorsing ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential candidature.

This is after a video of Wajackoya in an entertainment joint drumming support for the Azimio flagbearer went viral.

“I am here to join the battle of liberators in this country and the person who makes me stand here is none other than Raila Amollo Odinga,” Wajackoya said in the viral video.

In a statement by the party’s spokesperson, Wilson Muirani alias Jaymo Ule Msee,  however claimed that the video had been doctored to push the interests of a particular political affiliation.

“Whereas our party leader addressed his supporters  and accorded the other  three presidential candidates some level of respect,  the biased media doctored the clip to suit and push their candidate, Raila Odinga. We would like to categorically state that we have a presidential candidate who is on the Ballot and will win this Election. We have not and will not endorse any other candidate,” part of the statement read.

According to the party, the notion of Wajackoya endorsing Raila  is a hopeless imagination  and wishful thinking that only exists in the minds of biased media.

“We understand the various political camps have panicked over their expectations vs reality in this election and therefore have resulted in all underhand means to create a notion of winning this election,” Roots party further said.

The party however assured their supporters that nothing is going to deter them from clinching the country’s leadership after the general elections that are due in five days.

“We would  like to distance ourselves from those claims and assure our supporters that victory is coming,” the party said.
