The photo has caused lots of reactions with some opposing the move to share it, especially because Muite himself has kept the matter private. Many have however wished him a quick recovery with others expressing hope that the government will up its game when it comes to matters of fighting cancer.

“Get well soon, senior counsel Paul Muite. In Fact today l am totally down to see you like this,” read a comment on Twitter.

“It’s very heartbreaking to see a top senior counsel such like Paul Muite @Paul_Muite suffer and struggle with such a killer disease as Cancer. Cancer is such an awful disease no one deserves to suffer from but it’s still killing many. Quick recovery Paul Muite in you journey,” another netizen said.

That picture of SC Paul Muite is really heartbreaking, he has been talking about the pesticides used in our foods esp veg since 2018…Monsanto and the metals in sewage used to grow vegetables. Quick Recovery Champion,” read another tweet.

The last time Muite made a public appearance was back in March this year during Safina party’s NDC.
