Tears Loading! Edwin Sifuna Delivers Bad News To Musician Bahati Regarding Mathare MP Seat

Date:

Singer Bahati is set for another heartbreaking moment as the ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna insists that the Mathare Parliamentary seat is zoned for ODM.

According to Sifuna, who is vying for the Nairobi’s senatorial seat, the incumbent, MP Anthony Oluoch, who is vying under an ODM ticket, will be supported  by Azimio while Bahati will be fixed somewhere in government once the Raila Odinga-led team wins the August polls.

“Here in Mathare, it was decided that ODM will fill the candidate supported by Azimio and that is the current MP Anthony Oluoch . For musician Bahati, we will get him a job in the Azimio government,” Sifuna said

He  further took to his Twitter account to reiterate his point, outlining how the ranks of the Nairobi leadership, from  the presidential position to the MP position, in Mathare should be.

“Mathare; President; Raila Odinga Governor; Igathe Senator; Sifuna WR; Passaris MP; Anthony Oluoch,” he tweeted accompanied by photos from a session he had with Azimio Delegates in Ruaraka .

Sifuna’s remarks comes just weeks after Bahati was handed back his Jubilee ticket to vie for the position after shedding tears during a press conference where he begged Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta to give him a chance to swerve the people of Mathare, where he was raised.

“Baada Ya Machozi…. Ni Bahati Tena!!! The Jubilee/Azimio Certificate is Back and Mathare Constituency Can Now Have their Favorite Candidate on the Ballot. It’s Official KEVIN BAHATI KIOKO will be Running as Member of Parliament Mathare Constituency with the JUBILEE/AZIMIO Ticket,” Bahati shared with his fans.

The Machozi hitmaker is optimistic that he will clinch victory and has hit the campaign trail from time to time with the Azimio team.
