Indeed, the world is full of wonders and these wonders will never end! A 38-year old Rwandan man is among those who continue to shock the world.
Gumusenge Jean Pierre decided to go back to school and even studied with his three children in the same class.
According to him, he decided to go back to class because his wife looked down upon him and admired rich educated men.
Jean dropped out of school together with his siblings at a tender age because their parents could not afford to educate them.
He joined his siblings in doing menial jobs so as to make ends meet until he one day left for the city. There, he could not find a white collar job because he did not have any qualifications and had been away from school for too long.
He settled on for the same menial jobs before getting hired as a servant. He later met a woman and fell in love with her and within no time they were living together, despite their poor condition.
The two however started having misunderstandings after the birth of their third born. His wife became tired of living in poverty and would see rich and educated men thus considering her husband to be a loser.
Jean says his wife began behaving strangely and would even not share a bed with him. Instead, she would spend the night in the children’s room.Â
“It has been 2 years and 5 months now since we divorced. She went after I had started learning,|” he told Afrimax.
His wife took away all their belongings only leaving him a box to sleep on. Jean has been sleeping on the box for the past two years.
However Jean decided not to give up his dream of studying and become a powerful man just like the men his wife admired. He is currently in grade 3.
According to the principal of the school where he studies, Jean, who is older than him, follows school rules as required, puts on a uniform and even plays with the children.
