Stephen Mutua Kilonzo, the Kitui Senatorial seat aspirant under UDA ticket, has caused a stir after a video emerged of him assaulting a woman.
According to the videos shared on social, Kilonzo, who is visibly drunk, appears to be arguing with the woman in question at an unidentified location.
“So that you go and say that I have beaten you, there is nowhere we are going, we are talking here so that everyone can listen,” Kilonzo says as the woman attempts to take him out of the scene.
In the next video, he is seen beating up the woman as she tries to defend herself. The cause of their altercation however remains unknown in the meantime.

It is evident that Kilonzo has tainted his image as well as that of the party he represents judging from some reactions on the video.
“Even DP Ruto hardly fancies diplomacy in fact you can see he gets worked up quickly. I know he will meet his match one if these days . Sudi & Ruto wanapenda vita but the truth is they are weak,” Lazarus Okello commented on the video.
“This man is below the par and should not be voted,” Kithome Evans said.
While Frank Paul claimed that, “UDA walisema hao hawabagui ?? kwanza wanadai wale wabaya kabisa ndio wa fill ranks zao. Huyu ame qualify UDA na flying colors.”
Kilonzo decamped from Alfred Mutua’s Maendeleo chap chap where he was serving as the party secretary general and joined UDA early December 2021.
He tried his luck in the 2017 elections but was defeated by the incumbent Enoch Wambua.
“I consulted widely and negotiated with UDA top officials. I find the party accommodative. It is now my new home on whose ticket I will seek the senatorial seat,” he said during his defection
