Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has called upon authorities to investigate Murang’a women Representative Sabina Chege.
This is after the lawmaker revealed that they might rig the August polls in favor of ODM leader Raila Odinga.
“I EXPECT DPP Haji @ODPP_KEwill write a letter to the@IG_NPSand order him to investigate Hon Sabina Chege’s statement that JUBILEE Government will rig the August election in favor of Hon Raila…Mr. Haji please do the needful, soonest!” the lawyer stated.
He further claimed that local newspaper editors had been ordered not to publish reports about Sabina’s remarks.
“Editors were called last night…”don’t publish a word on Hon Sabina Chege’s earth shaking statement that the government will rig the elections in August for Hon Raila”…and true to the telephone call…not a word in today’s papers!” Ahmenasir said.

Speaking during the Azimio tour in Vihiga county, Chege said that if they managed to rig elections in the past, they might apply the same tricks so that Raila becomes the fifth president of Kenya.
“In central, I have heard some say here that we stole from them, there is some little truth. But if we managed to do so, this one to we can also do something. They think they are clever, but we have people and Baba has walked with people and he has become the peoples project, we want him to become the people’s project,” Chege said.
Chege’s remarks have caused an uproar among Kenyans who have demanded that she should be arrested.
“What excuses with the compromised @DCI_Kenya give for not charging Sabina Chege after her confession that they (despot Uhuru Kenyatta, she and other Jubilee thugs) have plans to rig elections for conman@RailaOdingathe same way they rigged for Kenyatta? Kenyans are watching,” Miguna Miguna said on Twitter.
Others however felt that Chege would not have said so if truly the government was planning to rig elections
“If Sabina Chege and Co. could truly rig elections, she would not shout about it. She used coded language to tell Ruto supporters, don’t waste time voting = Raila supporters vote, Raila wins. Or, Raila’s supporters could also say, why vote, we are assured they will rig him in” Dr. Njega Karugia said.
