Watch How Kitale Youths Destroy Chris Wamalwa In Minutes And Endorse George Natembeya During Kenya Kwanza Rally

Date:

Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa will have a rough time campaigning in Kitale for his interest in Trans Nzoia county’s gubernatorial seat.

Evident by the occurrences on Wednesday February 9 during the Kenya Kwanza Alliance rally in Kitale, Wamalwa is unlikely to be embraced by a section of locals who stormed the rally chanting, “Chris must go.”

The uncomfortable and humiliating moment was witnessed when Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula was calling upon Kitale locals to vote for Wamalwa instead of Natembeya.

“Finally as I finish, I request you to choose your governor carefully in the coming election,There are people who have brought a person from the DAP party. That party is just ODM. Team Kenya Kwanza Alliance we have brought you a candidate and that is Chris Wamalwa,” Wetang’ula said.

The former Rift Valley Regional Commissioner will  face Wamalwa among several other candidates that have declared interest in the position but a stiff competition is expected between the two leaders.

The others in the race include Boniface Wanyonyi who has served in governor Patrick Khaemba’s administration as the Finance executive, Women Rep Janet Nangabo, former Agriculture executive Andrew Wanyonyi among others.

Natembeya is vying for the position under the DAP-Kenya ticket that is supporting Azimio la umoja while Wamalwa will be contesting under the Ford Kenya ticket.

In another video shared on Twitter, youths, dressed in UDA merchandise could be seen chanting Natembeya’s name.

A separate video showed the youths gladly burning Kenya Kwanza posters and T-shirts indicating that they have made up their mind when it comes to the gubernatorial contest.
