Cardi B justifies looting in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Date:

Cardi B justified the looting in Minneapolis that is currently going on in real-time even now, especially after George Floyd’s murder.

In a recent tweet, Cardi B posted a video of looting with these words accompanied;

“They looting in Minnesota and as much as I don’t like this type of violence it is what it is. Too much peaceful marches, too much trending hashtags and NO SOLUTIONS! The people are left with NO CHOICE.”

The riots have been triggered from George Floyd’s murder by a police officer who was caught in camera kneeling on George Floyd’s throat.

The video of the same sparked outrage in the entire globe with most celebrities like Justin Beiber condemning the act writing this on his Instagram account;

“THIS MUST STOP, this makes me absolutely sick. This makes me angry this man DIED. This makes me sad. Racism is evil We need to use our voice! Please people. I’m sorry GEORGE FLOYD”

Cardi B was met with criticism online after posting her tweet.

This tweet is not the first time the rapper has come under serious heat. Recently, the rapper admitted to drugging and robbing male victims when she was younger. Many have felt the response to her crimes (or lack thereof), highlighted a double standard between men and women who commit serious crimes.
