A political gathering convened by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka in his Yatta farm, Machakos, on Saturday was shortly interrupted by a snake.
According to reports, the snake emerged from a tent where leaders had settled, forcing them to scamper to safety.
A few brave ones moved with speed to tackle the snake killing it on the spot but no one was hurt during the commotion.

Kalonzo is hosting leaders from the Ukambani region to discuss on the way forward ahead of the August 9, general elections.
Most leaders from the Eastern region attended the event however governors Alfred Mutua(Machakos), Charity Ngilu(Kitui) and Kivutha Kibwana of Makueni were not present.
The meeting comes in the wake of reports that the Wiper leader is under pressure to join Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja.
A close confidant of the leader told the star the Saturday’s meeting is intended to push for Kalonzo’s reunion with the former prime minister.
“I think we are wasting time with Oka. The longer we take to cut deal with Raila the more difficult things will become for us,” the confidant said.
This however comes at a time when the One Kenya Alliance is yet to settle on the Alliance flag bearer.
