Raila’s Daughter Winnie Explains Why She Chose To Stand On Top Of Vehicle Instead Of Sitting With VIPs

Date:

Raila Odinga’s rebellious daughter Winnie Mandela Odinga followed Azimio La Umoja proceedings at Kasarani stadium while standing on top of a vehicle.

On Friday December 10th, Raila took to Kasarani stadium to declare his presidential ambition for 2022 general election.

Thousands of Kenyans braved early morning showers and cold to make it to Kasarani stadium to listen to what the former Prime Minister had to say.

The ODM leader was accompanied to Kasarani stadium by his entire family, most of them sat at the VIP dais except his lastborn daughter Winnie.

Winnie chose to stand on top of a vehicle instead of joining other important guests at the VIP dais to the surprise of everyone.

Raila’s lastborn daughter cheered the proceeding while standing on top of a SUV like a common citizen.

Winnie didn’t bother to join her kin at the VIP dias when her mother Ida Odinga called all the Odingas to the stage so that she could introduce them to the gathering in Kasarani stadium.

Ida introduced all the Odingas present and before she closed that chapter she pointed to the crowd below saying her lastborn daughter was standing on top of a vehicle.

When a tweep asked Winnie why she was not at the VIP dais, she responded with a hilarious quote – ‘sipangwingwi’ – she can’t be told what to do/controlled.
