Willy Paul Explains The Origin Of His Beef With Bahati

Date:

Willy Paul has opened up on the origin of his beef with Bahati saying that it is something that started a long time ago.

Speaking in an interview with a local radio station, the My Woman hitmaker said that his beef with Bahati is because of his(Bahati) snitchy behavior but they had been good friends before.

Willy Paul said that Bahati was poking his nose in his businesses by always reporting him to his former music mentor J Blessing.

“I don’t understand him. We both came from ghettos. At the time, he lived in Huruma and I lived in Mathare.  J blessing told us not to seduce girls. Sometimes, girls would want me and so, I would take them to his house, but he would immediately send a message to J Blessings,” Pozee explained.

According to Willy Paul, fame also destroyed the relationship between them and revealed that he helped Bahati with his first songs.

“Bahati was a snitch. He kept reporting me to J blessing. I was singing and he admired to be like me. He has copied me in so many ways. We were friends, and even on his first songs, I helped him.

“The comparisons that came with our fans made Bahati proud. He changed the first person. I am different, if I don’t like something, I will show it but he likes playing PR in so many things. Our differences came from the industry. I can’t keep forcing myself to him,”the artist stated.

He reiterated the same during his response to Diana Marua’s  rape allegation saying that their differences was caused by Bahati being a snitch.

“My beef with her husband did not begin recently, It began a long time ago because of his snitchyness,” Willy Paul said.
