Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has shed light on plans to arrest Raila Odinga in 2022 in the event that William Ruto takes over the presidency.
Barasa insisted that come 2022 they will not allow Raila to bother Kenyans with post-election protest should Ruto win the presidential election.
The controversial lawmaker said that should Ruto win the presidency, he would ask the DP to appoint him as the Cabinet Secretary at the Ministry of Interior so that he could deal with Raila.
Barasa stressed as Interior CS he will not tolerate the behavior of the ODM party to reject election outcomes.
The Kimilili MP made it clear that should the ODM leader protest after his defeat he will direct police to arrest him immediately.
“The best medicine of Raila Odinga so that he cannot protest after the election outcome in 2022 is to appoint me to serve in the Ministry of Interior docket so that I will give an order to have him arrested immediately and taken to court. So the law must be followed strictly without favoritism, the law is supreme!” said Didmus Barasa in a video that went viral on social media.
