ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna, Saboti MP Caleb Amisi were forced to wrestle control of an event in Trans Nzoia from their UDA counterparts whom they shared a stage with.
The whole drama ensued after William Ruto ally and senatorial aspirant Allan Chesang attended an ODM event.
When addressing residents, Chesang urged them to vote for UDA sparking a furious reaction from his ODM counterparts.
When he instructed the crowd to shout UDA, the crowds murmured and started chanting ODM slogans.
Saboti MP Caleb Amisi was forced to intervene, he tried wrestling the microphone from Chesang but he fought him off.
Amisi eventually managed to grab some microphones from Chesang and stopped him from addressing the crowd.
The Saboti MP stressed that the meeting was for ODM, and asked Chesang to organize a UDA event so that he can campaign freely.
“Hiyo nakataa. Organize your own rally and do your own things. This event is for ODM party,” Caleb Amisi told the senatorial aspirant Allan Chesang as the crowd chanted ODM.
