“I Don’t Like Wetangula, I Don’t Like Him At All, He Is A Big Crook”- Miguna

Date:

Kenyan Canadian based lawyer general Miguna Miguna has openly expressed his hate for the Ford Kenya party leader Moses Masika Wetangula.

While speaking to KTN News on Wednesday night, Miguna described Moses Wetangula as a crook who inspires zero confidence in him. He was responding after Ken Mijungu asked him about his take in conducting illegal swearing in ceremonies like the Raila one in 2017.

“I don’t like Wetangula, I don’t like him at all. I think he is a big crook but if Wetangula today wins an election credibly, i would swear him in! It does not matter what the state does, it does not matter what IEBC does, it does not matter what Ken does. I do it because it is good for the rule of law. I do it because it is good for the principles of constitutionalism. I do it because that is what democracy demands, I do it as a man who has integrity.”

The Canadian based lawyer also took a swipe at Mr. Ken Mijungu after he asked him whether he would swear in Raila Odinga in case he wins the election again in 2022. According to Miguna, it was myopic for the news anchor to think that it’s only Raila who could win an election.

So rattled and angered was the controversial lawyer that he decided to destroy and ashame Ken Mijungu like a small child in a live interview.

You believe in the rule of law, you believe court should be obeyed and yet you swore in Raila into office against Supreme Court declaration that Uhuru Kenyatta was duly elected in the second election after it was petitioned by two institutions, you violated the law at that time Miguna,” Mijungu asked Miguna.

“So Ken you happen to have gone to law school, didn’t you? Right? No i’m asking you a question, you went to law school right? What law did I break, tell me which one? Tell me which law, which statute did I break when I swore Raila in? Which law said I couldn’t swear him in?” Miguna replied.

Miguna continued: “Why do you ask me a hypothetical question? Why should I be the one not being sworn in. Who said to you that I would not run and I cannot win. Why do you put the hypothetical and why is Raila the default winner in your hypothetical? You see how illogical you are?”
