Controversial lawyer Ahmednasir Abdulahi has exposed what exactly the Mt. Kenya tycoons expect from Opposition leader Raila Odinga and the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) shall they take power in 2022.
According to Ahmednasir, these leaders are on a desperate mission to not only convince the Mt. Kenya billionaires but also to appeal in their eyes, adding that these tycoons expect these leaders to protect their wealth.
As a result, the veteran lawyer believes that it is the only reason why they keep attending interviews with the hope of being settled on.
“Funny, really funny that Hon Raila, Mudavadi, Musyoka, Wetangula and Gideon will go through a rigorous set of interviews by 7 Male billionaires on whether each one of them is the right candidate to protect their billions against 50 million poor Kenyans.” He tweeted.
His sentiments came just a day after Kanu leader Gideon Moi, Wiper leader Kalozno Musyoka, Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula and Cyrus Jirongo paid a courtesy call to the Mt. Kenya Foundation.
The meeting was held on Thursday with each leader bargaining for themselves and why they were the best choice for the Mt. Kenya Foundation.
For instance, Kanu chairman Gideon Moi said he was the best-placed One Kenya Alliance principal to lead Kenya.
The Baringo senator said the alliance is open to working with any front runners in the race for State House
The Standard reported that Gideon urged the Mount Kenya business community to vote in good leaders since it would help create a conducive environment for economic growth.He cited tax policies, which he said in Kenya are currently unpredictable. Gideon said it is this unpredictability that has led to expensive animal feed and high fuel prices.
At the same time, the leaders made it clear to the Mt. Kenya tycoons that they should treat each candidate equally as opposed to having a preferred candidate.Â
