Businessman Jimal Rohosafi and Amber Ray broke up just a few months after their announcement that they were officially married.
The two started dating in December last year.
Speaking in an interview with a local blog, Jimal said that his relationship with Amber Ray ended because various reasons while denying that they were chasing clout.
“It was not clout. We got married in the Islamic way, and so the divorce process takes time, Kuna talaka ya kwanza, ya pili, ya tatu. I parted ways with her. Yea nikama nimempa talaka.” Jimal said.
Asked whether Amber Ray is still in his life, Jimal said that they were still friends and do businesses together.
“We are normal friends, we still talk and we do business together, but nothing in between. We talk but there is no relationship between me and her. She was my wife and I used to get everything and I was doing everything for her. Sometimes someone can take a break,” the businessman said.
He went on to say that despite Amber having a negative side she is also a good person.
“She is a good person, she does not just have a negative side. She is a good businessperson who understands a lot of things in the business world. We disagreed but that is between me and her,” Jimal revealed.
Jimal also revealed that his first wife Amira forgave him and they are in good terms.
“Amber and I no longer visit each other, just chat on WhatsApp and calls, but purely business. My wife forgave. Amira has a good soul. She has been in my life since I was in Form 2, and so I think she would not have wanted to end our marriage,” he said.
Earlier this week, Amira showed off an expensive Iphone worth Kshs180, 000 that was given to her as a present by Jimal.
