Devolution cabinet secretary Eugine Wamalwa was on Wednesday moved from his devolution docket to that of Defense.
In a raft of changes made by president Uhuru Kenyatta and read by Statehouse spokesperson Kanze Dena, Charles Keter who used to head the department of energy will now take the place of Eugine Wamalwa.
At the same time, Monica Juma who was the cabinet secretary for defense will now be in charge of energy, replacing Mr. Charles Keter.
According to Kanze Dena, the changes made in those various cabinet positions are set to take place with immediate effect.
President Uhuru Kenyatta had recently given a hint that he would make huge changes to the cabinet in a bid to improve service delivery to the citizens.
However, it is not clear why the target was on only these three positions as the changes happened abruptly without Kenyans being aware.Â
