Senator Cleophas Malala Calls On Police To Arrest Raila For What He Did In Kakamega

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has called on police to immediately arrest Raila Odinga without any fear following what the ODM leader did in Kakamega on Friday.

Raila and his ODM brigade toured Western Kenya counties of Trans Nzoia, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma and Busia counties drawing huge crowds.

Raila embarked on the Western tour to popularize himself ahead of the 2022 polls, the region strongly backed him in the past two general elections.

ODM has the most elected leaders in Western with the governors of Busia, Vihiga and Kakamega being members of the party.

Raila is seeking to ensure ODM remains the most dominant party in Western ahead of the do or die election next year.

The ODM leader was accompanied by local leaders as he toured the five counties in Western drawing huge crowds.

In Kakamega particularly, thousands of supporters mobbed Raila’s entourage as he drove around accompanied by governor Wycliffe Oparanya.

Many more people gathering to be addressed by the former prime minister and the Kakamega governor.

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and other members of ANC party drawn from the region are now calling on police to arrest Raila and Oparanya for flouting Covid-19 containment measures by drawing huge crowds to their rallies.

Malala claimed that Raila and governor Oparanya were spreading Coronavirus and such he called on Interior CS Fred Matiang’i to immediately arrest the ODM leadership.
