Machakos County has the best governor office in the entire country, no other governor office comes close to what Governor Alfred Mutua has in the County.
Governor Alfred Mutua has officially launched his office dubbed the White House which is believed to have cost the county a whopping Kshs. 350 million being constructed within nine months.
Sources say the office meets the standards of hosting the President as it has been fitted with all the necessary facilities.
The white house sits on a piece of land in Masaku, some are saying that it looks better than the President’s State House. The building drew inspirations from America’s white house.
The office has two wings, the West Wing which would be hosting the governor, his chief of staff and executive meeting lounges, and the East Wing which would house the Office of the First Lady, the governor’s advisers, and other support staff.
Mutua’s White House also has an in-house conference facility that can hold up to 200 people and banquet rooms for entertaining high profile guests.
