Raila Rebukes Church Leaders, Tells Them they Had 2 Years To Forward Their Recommendations

Date:

Opposition chief Raila Amollo Odinga has told off church leaders seeking to amend the recently released Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

Raila pondered why the men in clothes failed to forward their recommendations to the BBI taskforce at a time when the public was giving their views. Speaking at his Capitol Hill offices in Upperhill, Raila affirmed that no new ideas would be sneaked into the report. According to him, the plain had already left the station.

“The religious leaders had two years to present their views and proposals. No new proposals will be added to the final BBI report. That is their opinion, we shall proceed with the majority proposals, which are contained in the report.” Raila said.
