American former president Barrack Obama has finally given his view saying that the claims of voter rigging is putting American democracy on the wrong path.
In an interview conducted by 60 minutes, Obama said: “They appear to be motivated, in part, because the president doesn’t like to lose and never admits loss.”
In addition, Obama added that Republican members “going along with” Trump’s unsubstantiated allegations are doing a disservice to the nation, and that they are keen on ensuring that American democracy is on a dangerous path.
“I am more troubled by the fact that other Republican officials who clearly know better are going along with this, are humoring him in this fashion.” Said Obama. He added that it is one more step in delegitimizing not just the incoming Biden administration, bur democracy generally.

His sentiments came amidst the incumbent Trump refusing to concede to Joe Biden. Instead, Trump has initiated so many cases in a bid to deny Biden victory.
