Rogue Magoha Demoted After Calling Teachers In Eldoret “Wajinga”

Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha has been demoted after he ashamed a senior county education official in Eldoret.

The public service commission announced on Friday that Magoha will no-longer execute the human resource functions at the education ministry. The cabinet secretary was the talk of town last week after he stormed Langas Primary School in Eldoret.

On reaching, the ever angry cabinet secretary picked war with Mr. Gitonga Mbaka. Mbaka is the Uasin Gishu County Director Of Education (CDE). Unhappy with the situation of the school, Magoha started what he does best: “Nikisema wewe ni mjinga ni uongo?” Loosely translated: “Would I be wrong when i say your stupid?”.

Mbaka was humiliated before the junior teachers and before the curious onlooking students. As a result of the incident, the cabinet secretary was stripped off crucial powers with regards to education docket.

His demotion implies that he can no-longer manage anything on the human resource functions. “In his place, the Commission has designated the Principal Secretary for Early Learning and Basic Education, Dr Richard Belio Kipsang, to be in charge of all human resource matters in the ministry,” added PSC
