How Dead Woman’s Hair Provided Evidence To Jail Lover For 15 Years.

Date:

A lover accused of murdering his woman was on Friday sent to 15 years in jail after strands of hair provided the much needed evidence against him.

In a ruling issued by Judge Joel Ngugi, James Gitau was found guilty after the woman’s hair implicated him in the whole circus. The hair strands were retrieved near the deceased’s cold body inside a house they shared with him. The unfortunate even occurred on December 28, 2014 in Rhonda estate, Nakuru county.

“The wig pointed to the fact that the assault happened inside the house. Only the accused person had the opportunity to cause the injuries to the deceased as they were only two in the house.” Ruled the judge.

Ngugi added that the accused’s attempts to conceal evidence by washing her clothes and moping the house came to an end after the hair were found. According to an autopsy report by Dr. Magdalene Munyao, the late had bruises on her back and injuries near the eyes.
