Trump’s Spiritual Advisor Summons ‘Africa Angels’ To Help Him Win Election

Date:

Kenyans and Africans, in general, took to social media to laugh off a video in which U.S President Donald Trump’s spiritual advisor seemingly praying for him to win the re-election, going ahead to summon “angels from Africa” to help win the top seat for a second term.

President Trump is facing stiff competition from Democrat Joe Biden, who until at this time is ahead of him with both popular and Electoral College votes.

In the viral video, the spiritual advisor – Paula White is heard saying “…angels are being released right now, angels are being dispatched right now, angels have been dispatched from Africa right now, they’re coming here…”

“For every enemy that is aligned against you, let there be that we will strike the ground for you will give us victory Lord…I hear a sound of abundance of rain…I hear a sound of victory…. I hear a sound of abundance of shouting and singing…I hear a sound of victory…. I hear a sound of abundance of rain…I hear a sound of victory….The Lord says it is done…The Lord says it is done…For I hear victory, victory, victory, in the quarters of heaven…” the spiritual advisor is heard saying.

Kenyans on Twitter took wasted no time before taking the opportunity to ridicule Trump and question him why, all of a sudden, he thinks anything – let alone angels – from Africa can come to his rescue despite his constant ridicule of the continent.

The request by Donald Trump to seek help Africa’s intervention might have come as a surprise to many after insults the President has constantly throwing jabs at the continent and Africans at large. On January 12, 2018, President Trump even referred to Africa as ‘s***hole’ continent.

Trump reportedly said Africa was made up of ‘s***hole countries’ a meeting at White House with U.S Senators as he rejected a policy that would’ve seen America take in more immigrants from Africa.

The White House, in a later statement as reported by the Associated Press, did not deny the remarks allegedly made by the President but said “Trump supports immigration policies that welcome those who can contribute to our society.”

The statement from the White House would only mean that President Trump held the idea that Africa was “little” to offer any help to the US.

With such a cruel statement, you would understand why Kenyans and Africans are finding the summoning of  “angels from Africa” by Trump’s spiritual advisor at his time of need hypocritical and downright ridiculous.

Africa Twitter users have now taken the opportunity to ridicule Trump and question him why he thinks he can now get help from Africans to leave alone her angels.
