They asked for Shs100,000 saying it was to take care of their pregnant daughter,” his brother said as reported by the Daily Mirror.

He said his brother declined to pay the money that was demanded by the parents of the girls as he denied being in a relationship with the girl.

Kennedy insisted the girl was in several other relationships with other men and couldn’t marry her since he was still young.

George William Tello, father to Kennedy said his son had an ambition of becoming an engineer and unfortunately has died before fulfilling his dreams.

“Getting money to pay his school fees would be hectic but I knew he would make it and become an engineer because that was his dream,” he said.

Residents said both Kennedy and the young been very close and could sometimes be seen together for longer hours of the day.
