4 Dead After Car Runs Over IED Explosives

Four people were reported dead after a vehicle they were driving in ran over an improvised explosive device.

Two others were injured during a suspected terror attack in Dadaab, Garissa County.

The Friday incident occurred after the vehicle they were travelling in ran over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the Kulan area along the Dadaab- Garissa road.

Reports indicated that a father and son were among those driving in the car.

According to reports, the vehicle exploded killing the four on the spot while the two were rushed to a nearby hospital.

The incident comes more than a month after a similar attack happened in the area.

This is even as the government has beefed up security in the troubled North-Eastern parts to battle criminal elements in the area.
