Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi has insisted that he will not apologise to Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga regarding the words he used including useless woman.
Havi had attacked Gladys Wanga through twitter insinuating that he has in the past defended her in court pro bono regarding hate speech allegations which were filed by President Uhuru Kenyatta which could have landed her in jail in 2017.
Havi went ahead to call Wanga useless woman for being ungrateful for what he did to her in the past.
“I have a file on Gladys Wanga when President Uhuru Kenyatta wanted her jailed in 2017 for insulting him with unprintable words. If an elected MP can insult the President, what more can she not do? I spent a lot of time and money defending her pro bono. Let her be. Useless Woman!” Havi wrote on twitter.
But speaking to Citizen Tv, Havi has insisted that he will not apologise.
“The opposite of useful is useless. It is as simple as that. I have no apologies. I take time before constructing my sentences,” Havi said.

Wanga prompted Havi’s reaction when she stated that he is overexcited about the issue of dissolving the parliament making him act on his own personal whim.
“I think Havi is overexcited. I think he is operating on his own space, based on his personal whims. He needs to consult more,” Wanga said during a live Tv interview.
On Monday, Havi led protests demanding that legislators vacate Parliament Buildings over Chief Justice David Maraga’s dissolution advisory.
Havi and United Green Movement’s Jonathan Mueke went to the speaker’s boardroom to serve to vacate notices.
The ‘Occupy Parliament’ movement is a push by the LSK to force President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve Parliament as advised by Maraga on September 21 over its failure to implement the two-thirds gender rule.

LSK said parliamentarians ceased to exercise their legislative powers on behalf of Kenyans.
This follows the end of the 21-day ultimatum after the advisory.
According to the CJ, Parliament had failed to enact a law that would have seen the two-thirds gender rule implemented.
However, LSK members were allowed into Parliament Buildings after their ‘Ocuupy Parliament’ bid failed.
National Assembly Clerk Michael Sialai said parliamentarians and LSK members had fruitful deliberations.
