Donald Trump briefly appeared close to acknowledging the likelihood he will be leaving the White House in January 2021 during remarks at a White House event.
Asked whether he would reconsider imposing lockdown since cases of Covid-19 were on the rise, Trump stressed his administration would never shut down the economy suggesting that maybe another administration could take that move. Indirectly implying Biden’s administration in 2021.
“This administration will not be going to a lockdown. Hopefully the, uh, whatever happens in the future – who knows which administration it will be? I guess time will tell,” Trump said.

Trump continued to sound doubtful about his election prospects, telling reporters “time will tell” who occupies the White House from January 20th.
Trump’s cases in court are crumbling like a house of cards before his very eyes, his lawyers appear unwilling to repeat his claims of election fraud, perhaps fearing losing their licences to operate.
Law firms are also dropping Trump’s cases; Columbus-based firm Porter Wright Morris & Arthur on Thursday November 12th notified a federal judge hearing a Trump-filed suit over the election tallies in Pennsylvania that the firm was seeking to pull out of the case.
It’s now dawning on Trump that he is going home in January. Sources close to the president have been intimating to the press that Trump has discussed possible media ventures and appearances that would keep him in the spotlight ahead of a possible 2024 White House bid.
In the near term, Trump is expected to campaign for Republican candidates in Georgia senatorial seat where there is a rerun in January.
The senatorial race in Georgia is very critical as it will determine which party controls the US Senate.
