Caren would have never imagined her husband for seven years would break her heart by and leave unexpectedly leaving her behind in pain and sorrow.
Things began going south after Caren gave birth to their second-born. That is when a gap in communication between her and her husband, Mike started coming up. At the time they would always fight Mike anytime they started communicating. Things went from bad to worse when Mike would leave her on the bed and go spend a night at the coach.
Caren tried as much as she could to solve their marital issues but Mike seemed to have a lot of issues with his wife even worse he was not willing to solve the differences between them. At one point Caren realized Mike wasn’t talking to her at all but would find him laugh and talk to their househelp.
“We would fight in the morning for instance then leave the house to prevent more fights but when I get back I could find him seriously laughing with the maid when they are making stories in the house,” Caren said.
At one point, she realized that the maid had begun looking down upon her. But she couldn’t fire her since she badly needed a hand to take care of her children when she is at work. As time goes by she realized the househelp would try as much as possible to create chaos between her and Mike.
It reached a time when Caren couldn’t take anymore from her maid, therefore she sent her packing. When Mike, her husband realized the househelp was gone, she became very furious with the decision his wife took to fire the maid. Mike questioned the decision taken by Caren to fire the maid without his knowledge nonetheless it was Caren who hired the maid in the first place.
Caren met a rude shock when her neighbors told her that Mike and her maid were in a relationship something they said made the maid lose so of her friends who were against the idea.
“Some of my friends warned me that my househelp would one day elope with my husband, but I didn’t listen since I never thought that the differences between me and Mike were drawing him closer to the househelp,” she lamented.

Just after two weeks after firing the maid, her husband, Mike packed her belongings and left behind Caren and their children and went to start another life with the househelp. She was shocked by her husband’s decision but she could not do anything about it.
The society on the other hand never gave Caren an easy time, they rebuked her for letting “just a househelp” snatch her a husband. It was a hard time for her to realize that she was just living with her enemy in the same house.
