Tanzanian bongo star Diamond Platinumz has sparked wild reactions and raising dating rumours after a steamy video of him and Vanessa Mdee’s younger sister, Mimi Mars leaked to the internet.
Diamond, in the video is seen having a moment of his life with Mimi with both donning their swimming costumes. They are both seen laughing and possibly enjoying their time together.
The two have been rumoured to be dating after Diamond publicly salivated on Mimi Mars after she shared a video of her jamming to his new song ‘Cheche’.
“Mi nakapendaga haka katoto…. Sema sjui ata Tyming naikoseaga wapi Mwana wa Dangote… Doh! @mimi_mvrs11 ….. #CHECHE” he wrote.
Responding to him, Mimi Mars said, “Palipo na Upendo hapana woga: naam, upendo kamili hufukuza woga wote. Basi, mtu mwenye woga hajakamilika bado katika upendo. kwani woga huhusikana na adhabu.”
Mim Mars was taken aback with her sibling’s break up with crooner Juma Jux.

Speaking to Global Publishers, Mars explained that she witnessed the tension between Jux and Mdee first-hand and is not prepared to walk the same road.
“It has taught me two things; one, never date a celebrity, two- never make your relationship public,” said Mars. A month earlier, Mimi Mars was forced to deny reports that she was behind the breakup.
Responding to a question from one of Wasafi FM listeners, she refuted the allegations as mere fabrications.
“No, the two break up all the time. Why would I get in between the two? How can I be the cause? I have no say in their relationship. It doesn’t concern me at all. Those allegations are a hundred percent false,” she said.
