Miguna Miguna and Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina were involved in an exchange of words on social media over the disturbing issue of the eviction of Maasai people from their ancestral land in Loliondo, Tanzania to pave way for the a game reserve and trophy hunters from the United Arabs Emirates.
Miguna took to twitter to call upon notable Maasai leaders like Ledama and James Ole Kiyapi to raise their voices in condemning the Tanzanian government over the plan while referring to them as cowards.
“The world must condemn @SuluhuSamiafor trying to ROB Tanzanian Maasais of their ANCESTRAL LAND in order to HAWK it to African slave drivers from the UAE. Where are the so-called Maasai leaders like@ledamalekinaand intellectuals like@JamesOleKiyiapi? Speak out now, cowards!” Miguna wrote.
Irked by the remarks, Ledama, who has been protesting recently about the eviction in a series of tweets, asked Miguna to stop living in a bubble and make effort to find out what steps they have taken.
“Because you are the coward who just woke up when we real soldiers/defenders of our people have been dealing with the issue! If you would take a minute to go through different timelines and see the steps we have made so far in defending our people you will stop living in a bubble,” he said.
Keen on finishing what he had started, Miguna rubbished Ledama’s statement saying he had done nothing when it comes to fighting for democracy unlike him who has put in so much effort.
“Mr @ledamalekina: I’ve been fighting for democracy, human rights and social justice, including for the Maa, when you have been picking ticks from Slay Queen’s armpits. Stop yelling incoherently about kuzimia. Stop cowering in the face of injustice against your people. Rise up!”
He went on to share photos of Ledama with Martha Karua, Sabina Chege and Raila Odinga saying that he was wasting time being with them instead of fighting his brothers.
These images show a cowardly buffoon and fraud who spends 24 hours chasing after #MarthaRao instead of fighting for the liberation of his brutalized brothers and sisters in Laikipia and Tanzania. We are disappointed in you, @ledamalekina.

Ledama hit back at him saying, “F**K you Miguna Miguna no one gives a shit about what you say! My people are dying and you are here telling me you are disappointed in me? You are the f***ing fraud! I am elected and you ????”
“Is this the language of a senator? Is this how you are going to protest? Kenyans can now see the DAMAGE ganja inflicts on the brain. Coward @ledamalekina: organize protests. Petition your ganja-smoking buddy, Uhuru Kenyatta. Being childish won’t help you, boy!” Miguna responded.
