You Would Rather Die Than Being Sick – Othuol Othuol Last Message To Kenyans

Celebrated Churchill Show Comedian and actor Othuol Othuol sudden death as taken many by surprise.

Ben Maurice popularly referred to as Othuol Othuol has been in and out of the hospital having been diagnosed with Tuberculosis (TB).

According to his friend 2Mbili the late comedian’s health had been deteriorating since he went back to the hospital two weeks ago.

“Othuol was very weak in his last days, he could not talk, eat, or even do anything by himself. He had also lost his memory,” 2Mbili said.

2Mbili said according to the test done on him, Othuol had lung and kidney problems, his throat had sores and he had a brain tumor, which is why he was losing his memory.

Othuol died begging fr help from his family and rich friends so that he could foot his medical bills.

“If you go through his conversations with his rich friends when he was at the hospital, most of them blue-ticked him. They are the same people who are typing RIP on social media with his finest photos,” he said as reported by the Star.

In a previous interview with a local media, the witty comedian revealed that the Godfather of Kenyan comedy paid for his treatment.

“I thank Churchill (Daniel Ndambuki) for paying my hospital bill,” he told Mpasho.co.ke.

In March this year, Othuol made a comeback on Churchill Show where he left many in tear while appreciating his boss, Churchill for his support during his tough times.

“I was sick for the rest of last year from February to early this year January. I was diagnosed with TB and thanks to Churchill, my fellow comedians, and fans for praying for me and more so the Almighty God who gave me a chance to live” Othuol Othuol said on the show back in March.

It has also been revealed that the comedian was also fighting alcoholism and was to be admitted into rehab once he was out of the hospital.

“The last time we had a conversation with Churchill was to take him to rehab since he was fighting alcohol addiction,” 2Mbili told the Star.
