Nairobi senator and ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna has said that he has highly been disppointed by Chief Justice Martha Koome.
This is after Koome called for peaceful talks with William Ruto’s administration, because of the attacks that the Judiciary has been facing.
“Nashangaa leo naamka nasoma magazeti, ati yule ambaye ni Jaji mkuu Martha Koome amesalimu amri sasa anaitisha mazungumzo ya amani na Ruto. Imenivunja moyo sana kwasababu juzi watu wa KWS walituambia ati ukikutana na fisi ati uongee nayo, wakenya wamejaribu wakawaambia hizi fisi haziweziongeleshwa, you can not have a dialogue with a hyena that is greedy and hungry for your children,” Sifuna said.
Sifuna said that he had sent Koome a message on Tuesday morning to be bold in her action and stand up against dictatorship.
“What are you going to discuss? Are you going to agree with Ruto on which cases should be dismissed so that Kenyans can continue suffering. You have the constitution. When you get sworn in, you hold the bible saying you will protect the constitution. On this particular issue the executive is wrong, the national government the judiciary is right . Stand firm, ati unazungumza na fisi akuachie watoto wengine, inawezekana?” he posed.
