The heated exchange of words between Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kichumba Murkomen and Environment CS, Keriako Tobiko has taken a bitter twist.
On Friday, Senator Mukomen took to twitter to respond to Tobiko who accused him of lacking manners, saying: ” the idiotic CSs” would not abuse the Deputy President William Ruto without the authority of the President.
“Without the blessings of the President, these idiotic CSs would never have insulted the DP,” Murkomen said while he responded to Tobiko’s claims that William Ruto was President Uhuru’s clerk.
“William Ruto is not anyone’s clerk, he was jointly elected with the President&without him Uhuru would not be President&Tobiko would never be a clerk,” the former Senate Majority Leader continued.
This happened after Environment CS Keriako Tobiko accused the Senator of lacking manner and respect for other leaders.
On Friday the CS said that is was unfortunate that the Senator thinks he is the only one capable who can insult and bad mouth everyone around including President Kenyatta.
Tobiko was responding after Murkomen called him a mere clerk in the Jubilee administration.
“You forget so fast that you became a CS because the President was trying to get rid of you from the office of DPP. You have no moral authority to lecture your boss the DP even if he is being molested by his boss. First try to be MCA,” Murkomen posted on his twitter.
But while attending an event at the Loita Forest in Kejiado, Tobiko bit back saying it is Murkomen and the DP who lacks respect for others.
“Kwanza Murkomen awe na dabu sababu hana adabu kabisa. Murkomen amekuwa kama yeye tu ndio amejua kuongea na kutukana viongozi wengine hata rais. Mumwambie awe na dabu na amuheshimu rais. Hata huyo Mkubwa wake ni karani wa Rais. Just the way I respect the president as a clerk in his government pia hao lazima wamuheshimu,”he said.
(First Murkomen must have respect for others since he lacks some… He has constantly been abusing leaders including the President. Tell him to man up and have some respect. Even his boss who happens to be deputy president is the clerk to the president).
“…Respect is two-way traffic. If Murkomen and the deputy president cannot respect the president they do not deserve to be respected by anyone,” added Tobiko.
Tobiko also claimed the senator was being bossy by inciting communities living in the Mau Forest to disregard the government’s eviction order.
Tobiko claimed Murkomn was living in a landmarked forest and he should start vacating the land sooner.
“We know you are living in Embobut forest, by now you should be on your way out,’ he said.

However the resilient Senator would not sit back and see the CS insult him, he hit back at the CS saying he is mentally damaged.
“We have a CS who is mentally deranged. Just because of one tweet he has exploded and now promising to revenge against me and my father. Never mind the facts he will find some crime somewhere in the books. Just imagine this idiot was once our DPP! From Embobut to Tobiko I say come baby come!” he said.
