Woman Seeks Legal Help After Being Conned Ksh2.6million By Pastor

Date:

A female member of a local church is crying foul after blindly trusting her pastor with her millions.

Trusting that the pastor is a man of God and wouldn’t play her, the woman gave him Kshs2.6 million so that he could purchase cattle and rear them for her at his home.

The pastor assured her that he was capable of doing so. There was however no formal agreement on the deal, considering that she was well familiar with the pastor having met a few years ago.

The woman explained to the court that she send the pastor Kshs1,020,000 through his two Mpesa numbers after withdrawing form her bank account.

Afterwards, the pastor has been evading her and playing coy whenever she asks to check on her cattle project.

“When I tried asking him if I could see the cows, he evaded me stating the cows had moved to greener pastures. Eventually, he switched off his phone. I trusted the pastor so much and I did not disagree with whatever he said to the extent that I never entered into an agreement with him,” the con victim said.

Before surrendering the money, the pastor was also in possession of her new car for 6 months, over claims that he was anointing it.

It took the intervention of DCI for her to get back her car.

The victim now wants the court to help her get back her money, saying that she was duped into sending it.
