Former Citizen anchor Willis Raburu has unveiled a fresh plan for Wabebe Experience after quitting TV47.
Raburu has notified his fans that the show would be making a return this month.
Unlike the previous show, Raburu Pointed out that the show would be based in the digital space which is mostly used by Kenyans owing to the advancement of technology.
He explained that the move had also been informed by his experience in the traditional media platforms such as TV.
“The media landscape has evolved, and so have we. Throughout our journey, legacy media has played a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing me. I am profoundly grateful for the growth and opportunities it has afforded me. The experiences and exposure provided by traditional media have been invaluable, laying a strong foundation for what I have become today.
“However, the time has come for change. The digital revolution calls for a new approach, one that champions independence and collaboration. The Wabebe Experience is stepping into this new era with a vision to build something greater, not just for ourselves, but alongside our community of creators and supporters,” he stated.
“There is much more to come, and we are thrilled to share this journey with you. Together, we will redefine what it means to be a creator in the digital age, fostering a community that values authenticity and embraces the power of independent growth.”
Raburu takes the next step after leaving TV47 in April.
