Why There Was A Nationwide Power Outage According To Miguna Miguna

Date:

On Tuesday January 11,2021, there was a power outage in most parts of the country with Kenyans taking to social media to air their concerns.

According to the Kenya Power and lighting Company (KPLC), power supply was interrupted because of collapsed towers at Kiambere-Embakasi  high voltage transmission line.

However by evening the problem in most places had been sorted out with KPLC apologizing for the inconvenience.

However, lawyer Miguna Miguna claims that the power outage was intentional and a plan to ‘cook’ results for the August 9 Polls was underway.

He said that a similar instance was witnessed in the past election so the government was attempting to normalize the outages before the polls.

“There were numerous “national power outages” just before the 2007 and 2017 electoral thefts. Patriotic Kenyans must watch the ongoing power outages keenly for signs of despot Uhuru Kenyatta’s schemes and plans for electoral fraud on August 9th, 2022. Kaa Chonjo!” he shared on his social media.

“They are PSYCHOLOGICALLY preparing Kenyans for August 9, 2022. To NORMALIZE national power outages. So that when they orchestrate one before, during and after August 9, 2022, in order to CONCEAL their ELECTORAL THEFT and justify why KIMS SKITS failed, you will consider it normal,” Miguna further said.

A section of his followers said that he had a point which should not be ignored as others thought that he was not making any sense.

“I have always admired your candor and integrity. But you are now going overboard and it’s bordering on attention seeking. Ongea vitu za maana as before,” Mogaka Kinara said.

“General you missed slightly on point i do see it as the infighting between light and darkness where Kenya Power and some KPLC suppliers of electricity are at war over price reduction and the disbarment of the Board,” Ja Macalder said.
