Tharaka Nithi senator Kithure Kindiki has slammed ODM leader Raila Odinga for intending to reap where he has not sworn.

Kindiki, who was part of Kenya Kwanza campaign brigade in Kirinyaga county on Thursday  said that the government was formed in 2013 by president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, only for him to sneak into it now.

“I am one of the founding members of Jubilee and our leader is Uhuru Kenyatta. Jubilee was started under the leadership of Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto. But recently, the old man from Azimio sneaked into the government,” said Kindiki

“You must learn to read the Bible. Read and understand the Bible. The Bible says if you have not worked you should not eat, if you have not sowed you should not reap. Those who have grown jubilee are Uhuru and Ruto but the Kitendawili guy has just come in the evening with a big basket because it is reaping time and now he wants to harvest,” he went on.

Kindiki further said that all the development projects that have been realized since 2013 to date is because of President Kenyatta and DP Ruto’s sweat.

He however insisted that President Kenyatta should emulate retired president Mwai Kibaki in his retirement while noting that they have no problem with him.

“Mr. President, you are going to retire. We want you to emulate Hon. Mwai Kibaki and retire in peace. Don’t bring us political projects, we respect you, don’t force us to vote for Tinga,” Kindiki said.
