A day after Jubilee party announced dates for their National Delegates Convention, ODM also came up with dates for NDC.
Surprisingly, Jubilee and ODM will be holding the conferences on the same dates that is February 25 and 26 this year.
The only difference is that Jubilee will be holding its NDC at the KICC from 10.00 am while that of ODM would be taking place at the Nyayo stadium as from 9.00 am.
Considering the fact that the two parties are working together and it is clearly evident that president Uhuru Kenya has endorsed the ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential candidature, a section of Kenyans now believe that the real earthquake is actually coming.
“So Murathe was right. Odm(nyayo stadium) & jubilee(Kicc) hold Ndc on same dates then merger happens. Kaboom,” Thanda Ya Iregi said.
Ouko Caleb also said, “Merger is happening.”
“After NDC Jubilee will walk from KICC and ODM walk from Nyayo wakutane Uhuru park,” Jeff Ng’ang’a concluded.
Among the agenda on the ODM’s list include; consideration and ratification of NGC decisions, speeches and address from the party leader.

On the other hand has several matters of discussion including”
- Review, formulate and/or approve Jubilee party policies
- Amend, review and/or ratify proposed changes to Jubilee party constitution to comply with current electoral laws.
- Approve the proposed new seal, symbol and flag of the party
- Consider and approve any other matters.
Jubilee NDC was to be held on November 30, 2021, but was postponed since President Kenyatta was to deliver his state of the Nation speech at the Parliament on the same date.
“The President, who is also the Jubilee Party Leader, will deliver the constitutionally binding annual State of the Nation address on 30th November, the same day when the Jubilee NDC is scheduled. The NDC is an important event for the Party and as such a new date and venue will be communicated later,” Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju said then.
