Former Citizen TV news anchor Hussein Mohammed has been appointed as Deputy President William Ruto’s Director Of Communications.
By this, it implies that Hussein Mohamed will be in charge of United Democratic Alliance’s presidential campaigns ahead of the August 9th 2022 general elections.
William Ruto on Monday evening welcomed the veteran journalist to his team at his karen home.
“Hussein Mohammed, a renowned TV journalist, has been appointed Head of Communications in the William Ruto Presidential Campaign. Welcome to the Hustler team,” DP said.
Hussein Mohammed had been working as a communication consultant for Non Governmental Organization (NGOs) several years after he stopped working with Citizen TV.Â
While leaving Citizen TV, he hinted that he would be back soon since he wanted to engage in other private activities.
Known for his mastery of the Queen’s language, Hussein Mohamed was one of the topmost News anchors who interviewed politicians across board with hard hitting facts.
The News of Hussein Mohamed getting a role within William Ruto’s circles attracted mixed reactions from Kenyans as follows:
