After Kenyans outcry,the viral social media Rixxos Club video has been confirmed and verified by the management.
Recently, the management of Rixxos encountered a problem with a few of their staff; waitresses and a bartender. They reported this to the attention of the local DCI office on November 24, 2022, and they began doing investigations. On December 1, 2022, the staff members were arrested on suspicion of fraud and theft against Rixxos Club.
The management claims they have been documenting throughout the last few weeks after their extensive discussion with their IT department over the losses occurring at Rixxos Club.
They investigated and came to the conclusion that it was done by using old Mpesa codes stored in their system to clear consumers’ current bills.
In a statement issued to journalists, the document further reads.
“The management of Rixxos later learned that they were released on bond for a later investigation.
After release, they came to our premises threatening the management and hence the drama between our management and the aforesaid workers who were asking for their monthly salary and that where we made it clear that we could not pay them until the investigation is completed.
Due to the ongoing investigation, we cannot comment further. Thank you so much and happy holidays.”
