A video clip of West Mugirango member of parliament Vincent Kemosi Mogaka urging locals to attend William Ruto’s rallies has gone viral.
Apparently, Vincent Kemosi Mogaka who was speaking in a local dialect begged his constituents to attend and maintain tolerance in William Ruto’s events so that they can receive handouts.
The member of parliament also urged the youths he was addressing to deal with anybody that tries to heckle the second in command in Nyamira since they would not be arrested by anyone.
“I know some of you are in ODM, FORD KENYA, JUBILEE but let’s pretend we are in UDA for Ruto to give us money.
“I know you dislike me but for today let’s put our differences aside for Ruto to give us money.
“Today I want you to deal with anyone who tries to disrupt or heckle Ruto’s tour in Nyamira mercilessly case baadaye you won’t be arrested.”Â
Prior to the video of Vincent Kemosi leaking, Kenyans on Tuesday took a swipe at the Deputy president William Samoei Ruto after he used his trusted allies in Kisii to openly bribe residents.
According to sources which spoke to Sonko News, the Kisii residents were being bribed in a bid to make them attend the scheduled United Democratic Alliance (UDA) rallies across the gusii land.
The video seen by Sonko News showed a man in a UDA t-shirt dishing out bundles of money to the youths who had lined up with the hope of getting something to take home.
While there are those who supported the act, there are those who castigated the second in command while reminding him to provide concrete economic policies being the deputy president as opposed to just dishing out handouts to vulnerable voters.
As a result, this is what Kenyans had to say following the bribery:
“Wah, this is sickening. How long can this go on? Such a leader once in office can never perform cz he will feel he bought the position. Kenyans are their own enemy and the leaders we chose reflect what calibre of leaders they want. These wananchi will never know what hard work means, they will always want to depend on handouts.”

“Politics without money nowadays is not called politics. Bloggers, artist, voters or every citizen nowadays need money in order to support a politician. Even you, I know you was paid to share.”
