“We’re Political Animals Looking For Ways To Survive” Malala Finally Admits Contact With Ruto

Date:

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has for a long time being accused of being Ruto mole by some of his colleagues in Amani National Congress (ANC).

Malala threatened to stop supporting One Kenya Alliance (OKA) if they resort to work with Raila Odinga, while at the same time he stepped up attacks on the ODM leader.

ANC nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi accused the Kakamega senator of being Ruto mole and  advancing the DP’s agenda from within OKA.

Well, Malala has since come out to reveal that Ruto has been engaging OKA politicians without mentioning names of those the DP is in contact with.

According to the Kakamega senator, he should not be blamed and neither should any of the foot soldiers within OKA for associating with their competitors.

Malala blamed OKA leaders for delaying process of naming their flagbearer, saying that the delay puts the alliance in dark forcing some officials to negotiate with Ruto.

“The principals cannot blame the foot soldiers. The leaders are actually to blame, we have persistently asked them to name a flag-bearer so that we can start marketing him, but they have remained indecisive. This, and considering we are also political animals looking for ways to survive, has created a vacuum that is forcing people to negotiate with some of our competitors,” Cleophas Malala was quoted by People Daily.

While Malala warms up to Ruto, he strongly condemned Kalonzo Musyoka for inviting Raila to his National Delegates Conference on November 25th.

He said that he is ready to support Kalonzo for the presidency but on the condition that he (Kalonzo) doesn’t support Raila.

Apart from Malala, Mudavadi himself has also been said to be in constant contact with Ruto with reports indicating the ANC leader will join the DP’s camp.
