Eugene Wamalwa, the leader of Democratic Action Party-Kenya, has continued to criticize move of Azimio members joining government.
In an interview with Spice FM, Wamalwa noted that it was high time for the coalition to be dissolved.
“For us Azimio to go into bed with William Ruto is betrayal of the highest order and this is why as we sit here today, in Azimio, we have reached a point of divorce. In a marriage when grounds for divorce arise, one of those is when you have irreconcilable differences,” Wamalwa said.
“You cannot be the incumbent and opposition… this is where we have reached and we are in the process of seeing whether we can resolve this issue or divorce,” he added.
Wamalwa hinted that is party was also heading out of Azimio, after Martha Karua’s Narc Kenya and Peter Munya’s PNU.
“Martha Karua was here she has given notice, Peter Munya was here he has also given notice. Very soon Eugene and DAP will give notice. I can tell you as Azimio we have lost direction.
“We have sinned against the people of Kenya and fallen short of the glory but we are doing something about it and very soon you will hear from us,”he said.
