Comedian Eric Omondi has opened up why he stopped working with Miss P after she claimed that he was not a serious person.
Eric and Miss P met and began working together after her fallout with Willy Paul and her music career had crumpled.
His intention was only to set her back on her feet before she could continue with her projects and Eric says he achieved that.
“After Miss P had issues with Willy Paul her career went silent, people started saying that her career was over and she would never make a comeback. I was one of the people who was disappointed over the issues where they took each other to court,” Eric explained in an interview with Eve Mungai.
After meeting with Miss P for the first time after the fall out with Willy Paul, Eric got the idea of helping her career as she would have not made it without someone like him, Churchill or even Khaligraph.
“From what Miss P told me, she was finished completely, she had been blocked left, right , center there is nowhere she could go,” the comedian noted.
Eric talked to the management of his entertainment company so that they could revive Miss P’s career.
“As we started working more other ideas started coming up like retaining her, but it is very rare for us at Big Time to sign an artist, we started spending a lot of money until the management got concerned because the company was not gaining anything,” Eric said.
Defending himself over the not being serious remarks, Eric said that he fulfilled all things he had told the musician and even did more than what was required.
“I went overboard. I was just to revive her. I wanted to do for her one mega song. I did three,” Eric said.
Aside from that he linked her up with Harmonize and they planned everything for their project but at that moment, Big Time entertainment had to surrender because of the huge budget. He however handed her over to the company and from there Eric went on with his life.
Another thing that could have led to Eric and Miss P going separate ways is that she is not aggressive and does not push her work even on social media.
He however advised her to go her own way as she had been helped by Willy Paul and him as well, therefore there is no need for her to cling on them.
In an interview with Mambo Mseto, Miss P claimed that Eric went silent on her and that’s why she decided to embark on solo projects.
“I have a right to be silent, she has the right not to talk to me . We don’t have anything binding us together,” Eric said.
