Roots presidential candidate George Wajackoya has set the condition for him to participate in the presidential debate.

In an interview with a local media house Wajackoya said that he will participate in the debate only if Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his Kenya Kwanza counterpart William Ruto will participate.

The self-proclaimed  ganja man said that he will not debate the Agano presidential Waihiga Mwaure candidate while accusing him of stalking him.

“Let me make it clear, if Ruto and Raila are not in the presidential debate, I am not going to waste my time debating with Waihiga , who is stalking me. He wants me to talk about him so that he can receive some kind of mileage, no sir. I am only going to debate Ruto and Raila, other than those I am not,” Wajackoya said.

The teams organizing the debate, Media Owners of Kenya (MoA), Media Council of Kenya (MCK) and the Kenya Editors Guild, announced that the presidential debate will take place on July 26, at Catholic university.

At the same time, Wajackoya took a swipe at Ruto and his supporters for wanting to jeopardize his candidature over claims that he is not a Kenyan citizen.

“I have never changed my citizenship, this s**kers ought to read. They ought to just go to a simple internet and google. They are wasting their time writing to the British embassy. Ruto I will be with you on the ballot. Stop your supporters. You win, I support you, I win, you support me,” he said.

According to him, only Ruto and Waihiga supporters are insulting him and not Raila’s. He further denied being a state project.

“Why am I driving from here to Mombasa? I have just had terrible accidents where my campaign vehicle had an accident. Why am I not flying in them choppers. I was a government project. I would be very happy. I am a people’s project . Let them fight but I will win this election,” Wajackoya said.
