Few days ago Bevalyne Kwamboka, a chips Vendor, left netizens talking after exposing nominated senator Millicent Omanga.
According to Kwamboka, Omanga used her business just for publicity and did not offer her help as she claimed on Twitter.
Millicent Omanga shared a tweet saying that she had sorted Kwamboka with some requirements for her business.
“Umbrella, cash and stock to boost her hustle. Come rain or sunshine, she won’t have to close her business,” Omanga said.
However Kwamboka came out guns blazing to deny that Omanga had given her the things while claiming that she only received Kshs350 from the senator.
“For clarification, team @MillicentOmanga only bought waru za 350 came out of the vehicle with 5 umbrellas, took photos returned them and gave out one and two aprons. Hiyo mambo ya cash haikua plus stock ni ya 350. Hizo waru gunia kubwa i had bought and started the day,” she said in a tweet.
After the short misunderstanding, Kwamboka has announced that she has again been helped this round by nominated senator Beatrice Kwamboka.
“Shukran za dhati kwa Senata Beatrice Kwamboka Kwa Uwezeshaji wake wa vifaa vya kisasa vya kuandaa vibanzi, lita ishirini ya mafuta maalum ya kupikia, gunia mbili za viazi na kodi ya miezi mitatu ya chumba cha kazi.Siasa na vitendo hapana siasa na sinema!” she wrote in a tweet.

Her post elicited mixed reactions with some netizens claiming that Kwamboka was being used for political gains.
“I think you are wrong again. You are being turned into a political football, being kicked left and right in the name of being helped. These politicians are very interesting. They will lift you up today, an kesho hautajua venye watakuangusha,” Melloy Bright wrote.
EmGee said, “When you said someone had come through for you, I never imagined it was a politician. Learning that she was indeed a politician gives me hope that there are still good leaders who don’t help for show. I’m happy for you, keep winning Kwambo.”
Another one, Tea bags, responded by narrating the experience he had in venturing into business.
“Nilibuy hizi vitu kufungua biz siku mbili zikaibiwa zote A whole 16k ikaenda ivo Anyway …I wish all the best,” he said.
