Vincent Mboya could not hold back his tears while speaking about being humiliated by comedian Butita and Krg the Don.
Mboya, became popular after an encounter with Jalang’o last year. The young man requested Jalang’o to clear his Kshs18,000 3-month rent arrears but after it was done, he vowed to return the cash to his sponsor.
This is because he did not like the advice that Jalang’o gave him thus attracting critics and trolls of all manners.
KRG the Don and Butita harassed Mboya during a press briefing at the Eric Omondi’s play 75% KE protest outside parliament buildings. The two asked him what he was doing there saying that he was not worth being there as they chased him away.
“What is this guy doing here, Mboya leave, you don’t even have respect, we are talking about musicians not people like you who are confused about life. The problem with this guy is rude and a stupid poor man. You are rude, that’s why no one can help you. If you are helped you come and insult that person,” KRG the Don said.
“Get out of here we are talking about 75% local not abnormal. Find out what you can attach to your brother and we will support you” Butita said.
Speaking about the incident in an interview, Mboya said he has no problem with any one but God will take revenge for him.
“I went there to join my fellow artists, nobody paid my fare or compensated me for being there, that was a public ground. It really hurt me. I take this opportunity to say what do artists want me to do if it has reached a point of them chasing me whenever they see me. Is it because I am poor, I don’t have money or drive cars like you?” he said.
He however said that he will not argue with anyone and they are free to call him or do whatever they want.
“I will go where I want to go here in Nairobi. Am there because I want to achieve something but when I go somewhere you call me trash, it is okay,” Mboya said in tears.
This comes just days after Mboya was chased away from Comedian Y.Y’s party by Butita.
