Video Of Drunk Peter Salasya Partying Hard In A South African Club Irks Kenyans

Date:

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has left Kenyans talking after videos of him partying wildly in a club in South Africa surfaced online.

In the video, Salasya, among other revellers could be seen enjoying loud music as they sang along.

The youthful MP could not hold back his shouts and screams as well.

“Cape Town was good but can’t be closer to my country,” he also captioned one of the videos.

“Hapa ni watu wa touchscreen pekee yake. Kama wewe si mtu wa topuch screen you can not be accepted in this club,” he said in a separate video.

The videos have however elicited reactions form Kenyans with some demanding that he should behave like an honourable member of parliament.

“We ukienda terms mbili utaanza kupost ukiwa uchi, hii moja imekutosha,” a Facebook user said.

“Behave like an MP,” read another comment as another user said, “Boss don’t post when drunk, you are so incoherent.”

Salasya was in South Africa a week ago, although the purpose of his visit is not clear. During his stay in the country, he maintained that Kenya is the best place to live in.

“Yes it’s developed in South Africa but life is expensive . Kiatu kaa yangu hii in Kenya is 5000 shillings in Cape Town here is 900 Rands which is equivalent to 9000 Kenya shillings,”  the controversial lawmaker said.

He also noted that the only problem Kenya had is the high cost of fuel that has seen people seek greener pastures in foreign countries.

“Shida ya Kenya sahizi ni mafuta tu pekee if we can lower prices of fuel in Kenya I can tell you for free you will never want to leave Kenya. I was in Ghana, Morroco, Tanzania, South Sudan now in South Africa. Aki muache tu tupende Kenya yetu it’s the best,” Salasya added.
